Beginning August 22nd, 2023, we will be studying "The Mastery of Love". In the book Don Miguel Ruiz illuminates the fear based beliefs and assumptions that undermine love and lead to suffering and drama in our relationships. Using insightful stories to bring his message to life, Ruiz shows us how to heal our emotional wounds, recover the freedom and joy that are our birthright, and restore the spirit of playfulness that is vital to loving relationships.

While this is an ongoing, open group that one may join at any time, each class will build upon the practice from the previous week. We will use exercises and ceremonies to walk us through the process of shedding fear, judgement, and guilt.

No previous knowledge of Ruiz's work is necessary. Please join us as we explore this mind-expanding book. Suggested love offering is $5.00.

The Path of Holiness

First Saturday of Every Month

10:00am-12:00pm

Walking a spiritual path or leading a worldly life: must we choose one or the other?

Ancient mystics taught that there is a third way, embracing both but limited by neither; they call it 'The Path of Holiness'.

How do we live our divinity in the midst of living our everyday life?

Join Rev Steven McAfee and Michael Patterson in exploring this fascinating and practically applicable topic.

This class is offered on a donation basis.

Chair Yoga,

Tuesdays 3pm-4pm

Taught by Karla Alexander, C-IAT Yoga Therapist.

Often when you hear the word yoga, you instantly picture someone bent up like a pretzel. The word yoga can be translated as yoking or uniting. The true goal of a yoga practice is to bring together the innate powers of the mind, breath and body and the great news is, in order to do this you do not need to flexible, you simply need an open mind and sense of curiosity.
For this reason we are excited to bring Chair Yoga to Unity of Fort Wayne Spiritual Center every week on Tuesdays. This class is open to anyone who would like to gain the benefits of yoga while having the support of a chair for your practice. We will do both seated and standing poses, joint freeing movements, awareness and breath work and every session will end with a relaxation practice.
Chair Yoga offers the exact same benefits as a “regular” yoga practice which can include: better mobility, flexibility, strength, sleep, improved immune response, better perception and reduced stress. No yoga experience necessary, wear
comfortable clothing and bring an open heart.

Yoga mat optional, donations encouraged.
